Hi, my name is Mariah, and my mom, Sonya, was recently diagnosed with stage 2A invasive ductal breast cancer. As her daughter, I’m doing everything I can to help her get through this with less stress and more support.

After further testing, her doctors determined that chemotherapy would not be beneficial, and she will instead be undergoing surgery and long-term hormone therapy as part of her treatment plan. One of her prescribed medications alone costs over $2,000 per month, even with insurance.

Funds raised will help cover:

• Surgery and medical costs not fully covered by insurance

• Ongoing prescription medications

• Transportation to appointments and follow-up care

• Supportive care during recovery

Going on disability will significantly reduce her income while these expenses continue, which is why we’re asking for help.
