Help my blind rescue dog Jake get his teeth removed

hi my name is Kaz and I’m fundraising to help my dog Jake get his teeth removed.

i first saw Jake on the local charity ““futures for dogs “ site . Stevie had rescued Jake from a so called “ loving family” who had used him as a stud dog and then subjected him to years of neglect and cruelty so much so he had to have his coat shaved off as he was riddled with lice , fleas and mites! He had to have most his teeth removed and it was apparent he had also lost most of his sight. Just looking at his pitiful picture broke me . I immediately told my daughter Hayley about him and spoke to Stevie. She bought him round and we knew there and then we could offer him a loveing home.i took him on As a foster and immediately we were blown away with the loveing nature he showed towards my daughter me and my 3 yr old grandson. . I wanted to find out how much sight he had as he was falling over and bumping into things so I took him to Katie at beacon view vets at Eastry who I have total trust in she gave me the devastating news that he had so much trauma done to his eyes they needed To be removed as he was in constant pain . It was a very expensive operation but Stevie wavered the adoption fee for Jake and the money paid for the eyes to be removed by the pdsa. That was a month ago and he amazes everyone who meets him with his courage and determination

i noticed 2 weeks ago Jake was wincing in pain when his jaw was touched I took him straight to Katie and was told the teeth he has remaining are now inflamed and he will need another operation to remove them . This is a difficult op as the jaw is easily broken in small dogs . But I know beaconview would give the best possible care to Jake .

He is on pain killers but he is now showing signs that his teeth are bothering him . So my family and I need to raise £600 for his treatment which is difficult as we are unable to work … but . We are determined to do all we can fir our lovely dog and this is where you come in
