To those who don’t know, Bubby is my best friend.

He’s loved me and everyone he meets unconditionally (only if you throw his toy a million times). He’s saved me more times than I can count. He’s the backbone of my life, and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without him. Every attempt I make to better my life is so I can give him a better one too.

Last year, Bubby tore his ACL being the rambunctious, wild dog that he is. He needed a TPLO surgery to repair his right knee. The cost was overwhelming, but I found a way, after what felt like a hundred calls to credit card companies and loan officers. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and after a few months, he was back to running, playing, and being himself again.

Recently, I started noticing a limp in his left leg. The vet confirmed my worst fear and he now needs another TPLO surgery, this time on his left knee.

This was heartbreaking to hear. I had just started to feel like we were in the clear, like Bubby finally had his freedom and joy back. The cost of a second surgery is more than I can take on right now, and that’s why I’m asking for help.

Anything helps. Truly. Whether it’s sharing this fundraiser or donating whatever you can, it means the world to both of us. I just want to see Bubby happy, pain free, and playing with his toys till the end of his days.
