Hello! I am raising funds so my 13 year old retired racing greyhound can get a tieback surgery for her Laryngeal Paralysis. Her larynx has been slowly closing, causing her to slowly suffocate, and it has gotten to the point where it is drastically affecting her quality of life. She has been in the ER twice in the last 10 days in respiratory distress. I refuse to put my best friend down for something that can be fixed with a surgery. This dog has been my rock, I adopted her when I was a senior in college and she was already considered a senior at 7 and 1/2. She was a champion race dog, and had three litters of puppies before being released for adoption. This is a condition that primarily affects senior dogs, and some can live out the rest of their lives without intervention. Her condition was stable and manageable until a few weeks ago, when it suddenly took a turn for the worse. Anything helps, thank you for listening to our story.
