My beloved cat Gillis has struggled with hip dysplasia since he was a kitten, due to oversized joints that never formed quite right. Recently, he was also diagnosed with asthma, which has worsened — and I now fear there may be fluid in his lungs.

Everyone who meets Gillis says the same thing: “He’s not like other cats.” He is incredibly gentle, affectionate, respectful, and full of love for everyone he meets.
