Support my grieving daugther

Friday, August 5th, around noon, I received the phone call that no parent should ever receive. My daughter Angelica Vega, who was 6 months pregnant and her boyfriend Leandro Rodríguez , were involved in a fatal car crash. A vehicle collided with them head on and sadly, her boyfriend was killed on impact. Angelica survived the crash with serious injuries. While in the hospital, my daughter underwent numerous surgeries and the unexpected delivery of her stillborn son. After surgery she had to be treated and is continuing treatment for a pulmonary embolism. Due to her hospital stay she wasn’t able to attend her boyfriend's funeral and give her last goodbye. My daughter's dreams of having her own family shattered in the blink of an eye, losing her partner and her first child. I can't express the sorrow, frustration and pain she is living. She has a long road ahead which includes physical and emotional therapy.

Leandro was a skilled barber and my daughter a talented hairstylist. They met a year ago at a beauty supply store with dreams of opening their own hair salon/ barbershop one day. But her dreams came crashing down on this tragic day. Please help her to honor the memory of her beloved boyfriend, Leandro Rodriguez and baby Elias Leandro Rodriguez.
