Hi, my name is Jadelyn, and I’m the proud parent of a sweet, brave, and beautiful 4-year-old boy named Wren. He was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2, and since then, life has been a journey filled with challenges—but also incredible love and hope.
Wren is kind, gentle, and incredibly bright, but he struggles with things that many take for granted. He experiences frequent meltdowns, has difficulty with communication and social interactions, and is prone to wandering and bolting without warning. Every day is unpredictable, and we live with a constant fear for his safety.
After doing a lot of research and speaking with professionals, we’ve found something that could completely change his life: a specially trained autism service dog.
A service dog would provide Wren with emotional support, help keep him grounded in public spaces, interrupt dangerous behaviors, and—most importantly—keep him safe from wandering. These dogs are trained to respond to his specific needs, offering companionship, safety, and independence in a world that often feels overwhelming for him.
However, the cost of a trained service dog ranges from $20,000 to $40,000, and unfortunately, this is not something covered by insurance. As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to know there’s something that could help your child—but that it’s financially out of reach.
That’s why I’m here, humbly asking for your help.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward the cost of acquiring, training, and caring for this life-saving companion. We are also saving for travel and handler training required by the program.
Please consider donating—no amount is too small—and sharing our story. Even just helping spread the word means the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story. We believe in miracles—and we believe that this dog will be one for our son.
With love and gratitude,
Jadelyn
