Help my aunt & uncle, KY flood victims who lost everything
Donation protected
On Saturday, February 15, 2025, we received news that, although safe, my aunt, uncle, and cousin (Jerry & Linda Williamson, for those reading my post who do not know me, but do know them) had been forced to evacuate their home due to the severe flooding in Kentucky. As of this morning, everything is gone. Their home, their belongings, everything.
A little peek into their lives - despite both having debilitating health issues, my aunt is an advocate for homeless animals, giving so much of her time and energy into ensuring these animals have a safe place to call home or arrangements are made to get them somewhere safe. My uncle is a lifelong mechanic, always working long hours to ensure his family is taken care of. My uncle has always taken care of friends who may have been down on their luck, in the way of vehicle troubles, without batting an eye. Needless to say, they're both selfless individuals who would never ask for help themselves.
That's where I come in!
I've seen the way communities, friends, and family pull together, even the littlest amount, to help those in need. Those affected by natural disasters, things completely out of their control.
I know that times are tough for all of us, truly, I do. But if you find it feasible to donate even $10, that's $10 that I can promise you, they don't have. Either way, please keep them in your prayers as they attempt to secure new living arrangements and rebuild their lives.
