Two days before Thanksgiving, my aunt’s son Xavion Garcia, her only child was involved in a devastating hit-and-run accident. The driver fled the scene, and to this day, the person responsible has not been identified. My cousin is currently in the ICU on life support, fighting for his life at Dallas Methodist Hospital. Our family is holding onto faith and hope as we pray for his recovery.

My aunt is a single mother who has been doing everything she can to remain strong for her son while also trying to maintain her household. She is balancing work, hospital visits, and overwhelming emotional stress. On top of that, medical expenses, time away from work, and daily living costs are quickly becoming a heavy burden.

I created this fundraiser to help ease some of the financial stress so my aunt can focus on what truly matters—being by her son’s side during this critical time.
