Last night, our family experienced something we never imagined. A powerful tornado tore through my aunt’s neighborhood and completely devastated her home.

Windows were blown out, parts of the house were severely damaged, and the storm completely destroyed her car. The backyard deck and structure were ripped apart, her roofing, siding and windows, and debris and hail left destruction everywhere. In a matter of minutes, the place she called home was turned upside down.

We are incredibly grateful that she is safe, but the damage left behind is overwhelming. Her home will require major repairs, and her vehicle — which she relied on daily — has been completely totaled.

Right now she is facing the difficult reality of cleanup, temporary housing, repairs, and replacing essential belongings lost in the storm.

We’re starting this fundraiser to help her get back on her feet and begin rebuilding after this disaster. Any donation — no matter how small — will go directly toward:
