My aunt is 35 years old and has Down syndrome. She was recently diagnosed with a rare condition called moyamoya and has suffered multiple strokes caused by blood clots in her brain. She is currently fighting for her life and needs specialized brain surgery, which requires being transferred to Nashville for the care she needs. Because of the sudden nature of this emergency, our family is facing unexpected medical expenses as well as travel costs to be near her during this incredibly difficult time.

The funds raised will help cover the costs of traveling to Nashville and the medical bills associated with her surgery and ongoing care. This support will allow our family to focus on loving and supporting her as she fights through this challenging time. We are doing everything we can to make sure she gets the treatment she needs, but we can’t do it alone.
