Help My Aunt Fanny Breathe and Live with Dignity

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My Aunt Fanny, who is 85 years old, is in a critical state—both medically and financially. She’s currently battling COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) in a hospital outside of Canada.

She was relying on an oxygen machine to breathe, but it broke down—and now she depends on daily oxygen tanks that cost $30 USD a day. This is simply unsustainable for our family. On top of that, the tanks are heavy, restrict her mobility, and pose a real danger in an area where power outages are frequent.

A portable oxygen concentrator would be life-changing. It would allow her to move freely, improve her safety and quality of life.

But her challenges don’t end there.

Aunt Fanny is barely getting by. She has no savings to rely on and simply can’t afford the medications, treatments, or even enough food to sustain herself. No one—especially not an 85-year-old woman fighting to breathe—should have to live like this.

I’m raising funds to help:

Purchase a portable oxygen concentrator

Cover her daily oxygen needs in the meantime

Provide basic essentials like food, clean water, and medications

Any amount, big or small, will go a long way toward restoring dignity, safety, and hope for someone who truly deserves it.
