️This past Sunday night, our family suffered a heartbreaking loss. My uncle passed away suddenly at home after a long and difficult fight. About a year ago, he was diagnosed with a treatable form of throat cancer and underwent radiation. Sadly, the radiation caused severe complications that led to months of hospitalizations and setbacks.

In June, radiation to the affected area caused severe bleeding, and he was rushed to the hospital. During that time, he faced pneumonia, MRSA, lung collapse, and even a fall that made recovery even harder. After months of fighting, he finally got to come home three weeks ago and was doing better — we all truly thought things were turning around. Tragically, he began bleeding again Sunday night and passed away in his bed.

My aunt has been by his side every step of the way. She hasn’t been able to work for months because she’s been caring for him and handling endless hospital stays, doctor visits, and sleepless nights. Now she’s struggling to cover even basic expenses, and she wants to have an autopsy done to get answers and closure. The cost for that alone is around $6,000, which feels impossible right now.

We’re raising funds to help my aunt cover this unexpected cost and to give her some peace of mind as she faces life without him. Any amount — big or small — will make a difference and remind her that she’s not alone during this heartbreaking time.
