Help My Aunt and Uncle Rebuild After House Fire

There are no words to truly describe the heartbreak our family is feeling right now.

On the morning of July 20, 2026, my aunt, Kim Noonan, and uncle, John (JB) Noonan, lost their home in a devastating house fire in Coconut Creek, Florida. In a matter of moments, everything they had worked so hard for was gone. While we are beyond grateful that they made it out alive, the fire took something that can never be replaced. They lost all seven of their beloved cats, who weren't just pets—they were family. The grief of losing them is unimaginable, and the silence left behind is heartbreaking.

Kim is the loving sister of Dawn Costanzo Roberts and Cheryl Thompson, and our entire family is devastated as we try to support one another through this tragedy. As they begin the overwhelming process of rebuilding their lives, they are facing the loss of their home, their belongings, and the cherished companions who brought them so much love and comfort every day.
This tragedy comes at an especially difficult time. My aunt and uncle live on a fixed income, and my uncle is still recovering from a recent stay in the ICU followed by rehabilitation. They were already facing challenges, and now they are being asked to start over after losing their home and so many of the things that made it feel like home. Today, they aren't just mourning the loss of their house. They're mourning the loss of treasured memories, family keepsakes, the comfort of the place where they felt safe, and the seven little lives that brought them joy every single day.
We're asking for help to ease even a small part of the burden they now face. Your donation will help provide immediate necessities like clothing, toiletries, medications, temporary housing, food, and other everyday essentials as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives. If you're unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser and keeping them in your thoughts and prayers would mean the world to our family. Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for showing them that even in the darkest moments, they are not alone. Every act of kindness, every prayer, every share, and every donation reminds them that there is still hope and that a community can come together to help carry them through the unimaginable. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
