Hello all

On Friday, May 1st, my aunt's husband was rushed to the doctor after not being able to feel his legs or move his body. They later discovered her had a blood clot in his brain and he had to have brain surgery. My aunt and him live on a fixed income, and she's been staying at the hospital with him full time. She cannot afford to pay her bills and support herself while at the hospital with them. They are missing out on opportunities to work and make the money they rely on for groceries. I wanted to set up this fund to help them as it's going to be a long road for recovery. He has to enter rehab and she will have to drive 40 minutes each way to get to him. Along with providing adequate clothing for him to wear while he's recovering. We know the insurance isnt going to cover his hospital stay forever, so we don't know how much they'll possibly owe.

As of Tuesday May 5, he's still in the ICU. He's been having complications and hasnt been doing too well. They've had to give him extra oxygen because his lungs keep filling with blood due to a medication they're giving him and it's making him sick. He currently has a feeding tube and can barely move his limbs. I will update here when I find out more.
