Help My Mum Walk Again – Stem Cell Treatment for Severe Hip Osteoarthritis

Hi, I’m Tash, and I’m raising funds for my wonderful mum, Janet.

She’s 76 and suffering from unbearable pain caused by severe osteoarthritis in both hips.

My Mum’s Story

For years, my mum has been living with extreme osteoarthritis in both hips. Doctors have confirmed that it’s bone-on-bone, there’s no cartilage left. Every step hurts, every night is restless, and even small daily tasks like standing or walking have become a struggle.

She’s now on very high doses of morphine, just to get through each day. But that’s not a long-term solution. She wants nothing more than to live out her later years being able to walk again - to move freely, enjoy time with her family, and regain her independence.

The Hope: Stem Cell Treatment

After researching all her options, she found a clinic that offers advanced stem cell therapy to help repair the damaged joints:

This treatment offers real hope, it could regenerate and repair her hip joints without the major risks of surgery, which would be very difficult for her body to cope with due to her heart condition and age.

Unfortunately, because it’s a private treatment abroad, the NHS doesn’t cover it - meaning she has to pay for everything herself.

The Cost
