Hi my name is Peter Mcintosh and I am 5th Grade Teacher for a school in Brooklyn. It's my first year teaching and as many of you know who have children and or support children, it costs money to get them involved in certain enriching activities. It's my dream to have my students to go see Hadestown in Broadway because we are currently reading about Greek, Mythology and happened to get on the subject of Literary Themes in a story. I wish you could've seen their faces when I told them that there's a Broadway show that deals with Mythology and then told them the story of Eurydice and Orpheus. I saw their faces light up and instantly it hit my spirit to do something about it. So here I am taking a risk to see how I can advocate and weigh in on a miracle. Please help!!! This would help my students go on the trip, solidify a bus and give us extras for activities!! They would be so surprised and I would be so grateful. Thanks in advance.
