Help my 21 year old son with the sudden loss of his dad

Hello,
My name is Tracey and I am writing on behalf of my son Dylan. Recently Dylan’s father lost his battle with depression, making the choice to end his life. While Bobby made the choice to end his pain, our pain has just begun. If you were a friend of Bobby’s you know asking for help was something he RARELY did. He always wanted to BE the helper. He was ALWAYS there to support anyone who asked him for anything. Sitting down with Dylan, comforting him and trying to help him sort all of his emotions I am reminded he has many characteristics of his father. I am trying to show Dylan asking for help is NOT shameful. If people want to and can help they will but there will be NO PRESSURE to do so. I reminded him how often his father helped SO MANY and quite possibly people would be honored to give back to show their appreciation.
Bobby had a way of touching your life. He had a contagious laugh and smile that would light up a room. If his phone rang and the person on the other end needed help he literally dropped everything to go help, no questions asked. If he was needed extra hours at work he never let them down. If Dylan needed help, he cleared his schedule to be there for his son. Even when we separated and I needed help, he would be the first to help me. He helped so many people financially, even though he didn’t have much to give, emotionally, even though he was fighting his own emotional battles and physically, even when his body was in so much physical pain it hurt him most days just to get out of bed. If you knew Bobby personally my words make perfect sense to you. If you were helped by Bobby you understand he would never except anything in return. If you have ever lost a family member suddenly you understand the mental and financial hardship you are thrown blindly into.
With all that being said, my hope for this GoFundMe page has 2 purposes;
The first being the obvious. To help relieve Dylan of the financial aspects of end of life expenses for his dad, and help cover his time out of work as he processes everything he needs to take care of. Im giving friends, family and the community the chance to show appreciation to Bobby for anything he may have done for you personally. I am encouraging our Community members to show my son what a supportive Community we live in times of need.
My second purpose for this GoFundMe page is to remind every single person reading this that IT IS OKAY TO ASK FOR HELP! Whatever you are going through in your life you NEVER have to do it alone. NEVER be ashamed to put your pride and worry aside to ask for help. We know in our heart the support our loved one would have received could have changed the outcome for him if only he would have ASKED FOR HELP!
Thank you all dearly for your love and support. Thank you for recognizing the courage it sometimes takes to ask for help. Thank you for considering to help my son with a donation during his time of need. AND THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY PERSON WHO TOUCHED BOBBYS LIFE IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.
