Help My 16YO Son & Our Family After He Was Shot on 10-12-24

October 12th, 2024 my 16 year old son was shot in Downtown Richmond. He sustained life threatening injuries that occurred from being shot the chest which traveled through his heart and lungs then exited out of his back. Due to this, he lost oxygen for approximately 12 minutes which in turned caused a stroke and an anoxic brain injury. Through all of this and the grace of God, he is still fighting but has a long road ahead of him and may have to be transferred to a more equipped hospital that can provide better care for his recovery. I have fought my hardest to be by his side everyday while still working to provide for his siblings. I have tried my hardest to carry it on my own but have to accept the reality that help is needed. Any amount to assist with travel expenses, medical bills, as well everyday bills-as I do have to miss work on occasion to be with him, would be greatly appreciated.
