For the past 19 years, I have dedicated my life to rescuing and caring for animals and birds in need. My home is currently filled with 12 wonderful companions, each with their own story and special needs. Many of them live with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, thyroid issues, and kidney problems. I have always been their sole caretaker, providing for them out of my own pocket, and ensuring they have a safe, loving environment.

Recently, I was faced with a medical emergency that requires surgery and will keep me away from home for over a month. This situation has left me deeply worried, as I have no one else who can stay with my animals during my absence, and my finances are stretched thin due to the unexpected medical costs. The thought of not being able to provide for them while I recover is heartbreaking.

The funds raised will go directly toward one month of rent, food for all the animals and birds, and the cost of two sitters who can give them the daily care and attention they need. I am not a non-profit organization—just one person who has tried to make a difference for these animals for nearly two decades.
