Hi! My name is Amy and I have an amazing grandpa named Charlie who is 106 years old! I visit him twice a week and he tells me the most amazing stories! He is sharp as a tack and can remember things from his childhood, going to sporting events, and interesting things about daily life back then. He even remembers seeing Babe Ruth hit a home run at Yankee stadium! He also tells me incredible stories of his time in WWII.

He moved into an assisted living home about three years ago. At the time, he wasn’t expected to live much more than a year, but here we are, three years later! He receives excellent care, with several nurses helping him with daily things like getting dressed, showering, laundry, providing meals, etc., but this kind of care is extremely expensive and he is quickly running out of money. If anyone wants to help this veteran and American hero with his daily living expenses so he doesn’t have to worry about where he’ll go when he runs out of money, it would be greatly appreciated!
