On the Road to Oxford!

Donation protected
This musical group, the Sweet Ayres, is traveling to Oxford in July to perform at the 2022 C.S. Lewis 'Oxbridge' Summer Institute. Collectively, these four musicians have over 100 years of professional experience performing in the Colorado Springs area and beyond. The quartet was born in 2018 as they played together for the Anselm Society in Colorado Springs. Together they have played music for many special events, including Celtic music for St. Patrick's Day pub nights, and original arrangements and classical masterpieces for the annual conference of the Anselm Society, 'Imagination Redeemed.' At this conference in September 2021, the director of the C.S. Lewis Foundation heard them and invited the group to perform this July at Oxbridge. Because of the importance of beauty and music in forming the imaginations of thinking Christians, the Sweet Ayres will be performing multiple times during the week, culminating in a special evening of storytelling and music. We want you to join us on this once in a lifetime journey! Your contributions to this fund are immensely appreciated and will help with our plane tickets and lodging in Oxford.

Our musicians:
