Something heartbreaking has happened to our dear friend, and musician, Holly Lerski.

While she was away in Nashville, a giant 200 year old beech tree collapsed on her creative retreat in Norfolk, England. It totalled the cabin, destroying irreplaceable guitars, music archives, notebooks, demos, records, art, recording equipment, personal belongings and treasures curated over the years.

The hardest part to take in is that Holly would have been killed if she hadn’t got a ticket for the Americana Awards — the highlight of her musical year.

She was lucky — but she returned to find the place she loved completely destroyed.

The cabin wasn’t just her sanctuary. It was a creative space that held many artistic works that cannot be replaced. Now, alongside the deep shock of what has happened, Holly is facing huge practical and financial hardship whilst she tries to rebuild her life. Her 30+ year musical career may be over.

We want to help Holly through this crisis.

Holly is a gifted musician and songwriter, best known for her work with the band Angelou and her solo albums, most recently Sweet Decline, her American road trip album.

Donations will help with immediate and longer-term costs of replacing essential belongings and equipment, and dealing with all the unexpected expenses that follow such a catastrophe.

Some things can never be replaced, but we can help make the practical burden a little lighter.

If you know Holly, have heard her music, seen her perform, or simply want to help, please consider donating.

And if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as valuable.

Holly has given so much through her music and to the people around her. Right now, we’d like to give something back.

Thank you for helping Holly rebuild. ❤️
