On April 7, my eight year-old Shih Tzu, Mushroom, and I were attacked by a loose pitbull on Ferry Street in Everett, Massachusetts. It was a terrifying experience, and I’ve spent countless hours crying and comforting my little girl as she recovers. The medical bills for her emergency care and surgeries have been overwhelming—a cost I never expected and am struggling to cover.

During the attack, Mushroom suffered severe injuries, including having part of her stomach and intestines ripped out. The funds raised here will go directly toward the surgeries and ongoing care that were necessary to save her life. She’s a small dog with a big heart, and every bit of support will help her heal and get back to her happy, loving self.
