Help Murti Murti Go To Vrindavan!

The day after the Pope died, I watched Wisdom of the Sages. They mentioned how one saintly women disciple of Prabhupada, named Murti Murti from Argentina, was married in the church and had her daughter baptized by Pope Francis when he was Jorge Bergoglio. I felt proud, not only because I am also Argentinian and the Pope is from there, but because I was sheltered and nurtured in Krishna-consciousness by this humble and saintly lady who served selflessly as the temple president when I joined ISKCON in 1996. She created such a sweet motherly bond with all the devotees and guests that even the devotees who left the movement never forget her love and kindness. Many devotees like me owe our lives to her. Hearing this I become inspired to do something for her.
Although it has been her life dream, Murti Murti has never been to Vrindavan, a place her beloved guru called home, although she has been a devotee for nearly 53 years! Argentina is practically the farthest country from India and therefore the most expensive to get there. Their economy is also not good, especially for those who sacrificed their whole life for the mission of Srila Prabhupada. It is just not easy for devotees to make that trip. I only was finally able to go to Vrindavan after 21 years as a devotee. That experience changed my life.
It pains me that one of Srila Prabhupada’s daughters who gave her life to his mission, and to this day is still serving the mission in so many ways, has not yet had that experience. Murti Murti is in her seventies and her health is not good. This is her last chance to make this pilgrimage. She cannot make it alone, so I am also raising funds also for her daughter kamala to accompany her and stay a month in Vrindavan. In many ways these senior lady disciples of Srila Prabhupada are the unsung heroes of his mission, serving so many selflessly. Let’s now serve them. Can you please help?

PS: I’ll like to raise $7000 for international and domestic flights + a month stay in India for 2, but if we can collect more, we could make sure she travels in premium economy, which at her age would be the sensitive thing to do.
