With deep sadness, we inform you that Rekha passed away peacefully on 16th Jan 2026 (4:55PM EST). We are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown to Murthy and the family.

We are raising funds with a heavy heart to support our dear friend Murthy and his two sons during one of the most painful moments of their lives.

Murthy’s wife, Rekha, has been bravely fighting cancer for the last 18 months. Despite all possible treatments and prayers, her condition has now deteriorated significantly. She is currently in hospice, and doctors have indicated that she may pass away within the next day or two. Rekha has shown immense courage throughout her journey, and her impending loss is deeply heartbreaking for Murthy and the entire family.

Along with the overwhelming emotional pain, Murthy is facing substantial financial challenges, including medical bills, hospital and palliative care, and funeral expenses.
