"Help Murat Get Back on His Feet"
Murat is a 50-year-old hardworking immigrant. As a Lyft driver, he's been working tirelessly to build a new life for himself and his family. Tragically, his life took an unexpected turn when he was involved in a shocking shooting incident while on the job in Omaha, Nebraska.
On November 18th, Murat was driving a passenger when a drive-by shooter targeted his vehicle, firing multiple shots that miraculously missed him but injured his passenger and left his car severely damaged. The incident was so shocking that it made local news, and you can read more about it in the attached article.
Murat's liability insurance doesn't cover the extensive damage to his vehicle, and he's been struggling to make ends meet without a car. It's been three weeks since the incident, and he's feeling the financial strain.
As a hardworking individual, Murat is determined to get his life back on track. However, the language barrier and lack of transportation have made things even more challenging. He's working tirelessly to cover day-to-day expenses and fix his vehicle, but it's a tough road ahead.
Murat is extremely humble and timid, and I have taken it upon myself to help him in any way we can.
What your contributions will go to:
- Repairing his vehicle to get him back to work
- Supporting him with daily expenses like food during this difficult time.
Every bit counts, and we appreciate your kindness and generosity. Let's help Murat recover from this traumatic experience and get back to living his life.
