On Sunday 29th March, I found a starving mum and her newborn puppy, eyes still closed and less than 2 weeks old, alone and hidden in the bushes in Bali.
I saw the mum while searching for my missing cat. I gave her a cat treat, which was all I had on me, and then she led me straight to her baby. I looked around to check for more puppies, but it was just the two of them.
They desperately need a foster or forever home to be safe and away from the dangers of the street.
I went to check on them a few times the next day, and found that the mum was always leaving the baby alone. When she came back, she would be bothered by mosquitos, and there was construction going on across the path which worried me. When I couldn't find the puppy, and she was deep inside the bush I started to get really concerned and couldn't leave her there.
I have 5 dogs of my own, and 2 of my boys are fighting at the moment and no safe space.
Any donations will go directly towards vet costs, vaccinations, sterilisation, skin and worm treatment, essentials, and boarding costs if a foster or forever home isn’t found.
Every little helps to keep them safe and give them a second chance.
Thank you!
