Help Multi-Generational Family Evacuate Gaza
Donation protected
My cousin, Nadia Sakallah Dahdouh, is currently attempting to leave Gaza with her family because of the dire situation there. Nadia has a family of 7, 5 boys and 2 girls most of whom have families of there own too. The financial burden of leaving out of Rafah is very challenging to a family who lost everything during the latest Israeli incursion as the fees charged per person range from $5,000 to $7,000 when you add all the fees.

The family lived in the Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza. Since then, they had to move multiple times either because of the Israeli army warnings or to stay ahead of the bombing and finally ending in Rafah. This is a family of professionals that include lawyers, accountants, and a son, Musheer, who was awarded his medical degree just this last year.

Unfortunately, the family has been separated in Rafah and while some call tents their home, others live in abandoned schools and or other abandoned buildings.

The grandchildren, who range in age from 3-12, spend their time together, playing in one of the tents and keeping each other company.

As the family fearfully anticipates a ground invasion, they urgently hope to raise enough money to be able to afford the exit visas, transportation, and find temporary housing.
We appreciate any amount you can donate to allow them to leave Rafah safely as soon as possible ahead of the invasion while they are still reeling from losing other members of their family!
Thank you so much for your support and generosity.
