Help Mulder (dog) get intestinal surgery
Donation protected
Our eight-year-old dog Mulder (a Puerto Rican rescue whom we adopted in February 2016) has some area rug lodged in his small intestine that has made him very sick. He uncharacteristically chewed a hole in an area rug on Sunday 10/24 and we think it might be that he ate some and it has gotten stuck in his digestive tract. He is barely able to eat (and can't keep down much of what little he does eat) and has been vomiting and experiencing diarrhea frequently for a little over a week now. We have been recommended for him to have surgery, which we have been told is going to cost $5600-$7300. My fiancee and I both just started new jobs, and mine is a temporary one that only lasts until the first week of January. We are looking to help fund this very unexpected surgery so that Mulder can comfortably eat and continue to be the gentle, loving, and slightly grumpy cuddle monster that we love.
