Help Mukisa rescue injured and homeless animals

Mukisa dog rescue is a shelter in Kampala, Uganda. They are a small, dedicated, animal-loving staff led by their founder, Mukisa. They want to start their own shelter with higher quality materials that can withstand harsh weather and keep the animals safe from the high amounts of ticks and other insects in the area. Currently there are 32 dogs and they all need to be vaccinated, neutered, and spayed.
They rely 100% on donations to provide food and medical care to their population of stray and rescued dogs. Unfortunately, governmental support & resources are very scarce for animal relief organizations in Uganda. At this time, there is a consistent need for food and monthly rent for the use of their land, in addition to medical care for the dogs.
For Mukisa and his staff to start up their own shelter they would need around $3000. The other $7,000 will be for the continued rent, vet visits, food and water, neutering/spaying, blankets for new puppies, and medicine.
All animals need to be vaccinated and given flea and tick preventative medication, but urgent care is often needed for animals in critical condition/animals who fall ill. 100% of donations will be withdrawn from this US-based GoFundMe and distributed to the rescue's verified Remitly account, since GoFundMe does not currently support withdrawal of funds in Uganda.
