Hello! My name is Tash and I’m a non profit worker in Brooklyn fund raising for Muhannad and his three children. He also supports his wife and relatives. Devastatingly, he recently lost his father.
I first met Muhannad when he reached out to me via Instagram. We’ve been speaking for around 2 months and I am in awe of his bravery and endurance.
Muhannad sends and creates videos or posts to advocate for his family daily. They fight every minute of every day in their war-torn home country to find food and maintain their meager shelter. In the back of the videos, you can hear the constant drone of jet planes. One morning, Sujood- Muhannads second youngest- was playing and accidentally cut her forehead on a piece of rebar. Muhannad scrambled to ensure he could raise money for antibiotics, sending me updated pictures of her with the cream applied.
Anytime Muhannad receives donations, he returns the kindness to the best of his ability. This man has endured enough trauma and hardship for ten lifetimes and still goes out of his way to express gratitude for any generosity extended.
Muhannad says it costs his family around $12/ day to eat and resources only continue to get more scarce.
Anything you are willing and able to give to help Muhannad, Sujood, Abeer and Ahmed fight another day will be so greatly appreciated.
Truly every single
dollar buys them another chance to see freedom. And they will see freedom.
Thank you for reading
