My name is Sonia, and I live in California, USA. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Muhammad Khaled, a devoted father in occupied Gaza who is struggling to care for his family of 15, including his newborn son, Tim. I met Muhammad via a mutual acquaintance, Anne Marie who is associated with CVBIPOCC, a grassroots movement located in the Central Valley of California dedicated to liberation through love, solidarity, healing, and collective action.
Since the war began, Muhammad and his loved ones have been forced to live in a makeshift tent that offers little protection from the elements. Every day is a fight for survival as they face severe shortages of food, clean water, and basic necessities. Some days, there is nothing to eat at all, and Muhammad and his family have become weak and ill from hunger. Muhammad's son Tim, is just two months old and urgently needs baby formula, and diapers—items that are nearly impossible to find or afford in their current situation.
Despite his own hardships, Muhammad runs a nonprofit organization, The Muhammed Khaled Relief Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting other Palestinians in need. He has always put his community first, offering mutual aid to others and hope to those around him. Now, he and his family are in desperate need of help themselves. With winter approaching, their shelter is falling apart, and they have no way to stay warm or dry. Muhammad’s greatest hope is to secure enough support to provide his family with food, medicine, and safe shelter, especially for baby Tim, whose health is at risk every day.
As the organizer, I will be fully transparent in transferring all funds raised directly to Muhammad and his family. Every donation goes toward food, baby supplies, medication, and shelter. By helping Muhammad, you are not only saving a family but also supporting someone who has dedicated his life to helping others in his community.
