I am Sameh from Belgium, and I am deeply saddened by the circumstances that have led to this fundraising campaign.
I have launched this campaign to support my friend, Mohammed, from Gaza.
A Message from Mohammed :-
My name is Mohammed Altaweel, and I am from Rafah, Gaza. I am a father to four precious children: Masa, Malak, Yasser, and Radwan.
My family means everything to me, and I have devoted my life and years of hard work to provide them with a decent and happy life. However, on October 7, 2023, our lives were turned completely upside down. I lost my job, and our beloved home — the place where we built so many wonderful memories — was completely destroyed, reduced to rubble by Israeli bombings. To add to this pain, my brother, journalist Saeed Al-Taweel, who was documenting the occupation’s crimes against defenseless civilians, was martyred.
My dear father was also martyred. When the invasion of Rafah began, we were forced to flee our house and now live in a tent under unsanitary and extremely difficult conditions.
It is now our hope, with your help, to begin rebuilding our home and our lives. My family and I have endured unimaginable pain and loss over these past months.
We now dream of restoring some sense of normalcy and safety for our children.
I want them to feel secure once again.
