My name is Rachel Taylor, and I live in the United States. I am helping my friend Mahmoud raise money for medical care and medical travel for his nephew Muhammad.

URGENT: Mohammed has been injured by shrapnel in the bombing. Some shrapnel was lodged in his back, which is life-threatening. Mohammed must be taken out of Gaza so he can receive the necessary and urgent treatment.

Here is what he says:

"My nephew, Muhammad, is 14 years old and has a sister, Laila, who is 12 years old. His father died when he was young due to the ongoing conflicts. Their house was completely destroyed at the beginning of the devastation. Their house was located near Net Srim.

They moved to the center of the Gaza Strip to his mother’s friend's house. The house he was displaced to was bombed, and his mother's eyes were injured.

Muhammad suffered burns on his face and body. They took Muhammad out from under the rubble."

He has been suffering with terrible burns over his body. We are fundraising to help him get needed medical care, and funds for traveling to get specialized treatment.
