Mufasa was brought to Four Footed Friends in dire need of medical care and attention. His previous owners neglected him when he needed them the most, and it cost him more than just a pretty face. He doesn’t look like a normal cat anymore and also deals with a painful hole through his face that goes all the way through the roof of his mouth. This poor young boy is very easily prone to infection because all it takes is one piece of food to get stuck in that hole and he can develop a horrible infection that can cost him his life. He has been hospitalized for these potentially deadly infections now, and we are making sure that he is stable for a much-needed surgery to keep him pain free so that he can safely live a happy and healthy life with his loving foster mom.

This baby deserves a chance to be loved and live a fulfilling life, but that will require a surgery to prevent future infections and to close this hole in his mouth. Someone really hurt him and he faced neglect, yet he has the most beautiful attitude towards his caregivers. This boy is a warrior and is fighting to live!
