Hello, my name is Gabi Cabanas and my friends in America and I want to help our friend 16-year-old Muayad escape genocide in Gaza. I am in Colorado and many others are scattered around the world but we communicate through social media. For reasons unknown, Egypt is charging Gazans $2,000-$10,000 per person to escape. These measures are unrealistic and unattainable for a population that is half minors. We must come together as the international community to do what we can for as many children affected by the indiscriminate and collective punishment of a trapped population.
Muayad, like many, is in the Rafah area of the Gaza Strip. He’s relying on outside donations to help him buy food for him and his family. The cost for food has skyrocketed, and many Gazans have even said that the merchants are like another occupier on top of the Israelis.
Funds donated to this GoFundMe will go towards buying life saving supplies and food. They will be transferred to Muayad’s personal PayPal account.
