On April 10th 2022, your Montana State University Men's Lacrosse team was returning to Bozeman from a weekend of games in Dickinson, North Dakota. With just 2 hours left of travel, our team bus suffered an engine failure that started a fire. That fire quickly spread and eventually destroyed the entire bus along with many of the items within it.
Thankfully, we evacuated all people before any harm was done. No one was injured and that is the most important thing we are thankful for. Some of the lacrosse gear and team gear was saved, but many players' personal items were lost. Over 20 of our players lost their laptops and notes, items that are vital to their academic success. With the end of the semester just four weeks away, we could use help on replacing these laptops and more to finish the semester as student-athletes.
Our 2022 season has been going well with your Bobcats being ranked 8th in the nation with a record of 7-5 as of 4/11/2022. So well that we are expected to make it to the national tournament May 9th-May 14 in Round Rock, Texas! With our primary means of transportation being destroyed, we are struggling to afford the travel costs that are coming up and we need your help to get us there!
We thank anyone who has already donated and to our sponsors near and far. Please help us help our players and get us to the national tournament. All donations go directly to the club to help replace lost items and fund our trip to nationals. Go Bobcats!
