Help Ms.G Go Digital!
Donation protected
My name is Camille, and I teach 10th grade English in the 9th ward of New Orleans! As you all know, this unprecedented health crisis has prompted major shifts in how our students access learning. Like many schools nationwide, we have had to go completely digital. In order to be able to best meet the needs of my students in these difficult times, I also need access to technology!
In what is perhaps the worst timing in human history, my computer was damaged beyond repair. I need to replace it as soon as possible so that my kids don't lose any more learning time than they already have. Due to recent circumstances such as the loss of my summer job, the strain of my graduate school tuition, and an unstable housing situation, I have fallen on hard times and am unable to afford a new one.
I know that many people are in situations of financial uncertainty, so please don't feel as though you have to give anything, but any donations and/or sharing of this post would be greatly appreciated by me and 140 tenth grade English students in the city of New Orleans!
**Update: any donations above 100$ will receive a personal poem written by me. I am a published poet and my blog can be found at milktogin.com**
