Hello friends of Ms. Smyth and Valley High School alum. I am a former student of Ms. Smyth and she made such an impact on me and so many others during her years at Valley and other schools. She taught us so much more than just Spanish. We are fundraising to help Ms. Smyth’s family with memorial expenses. Ms. Smyth’s daughter (Laura Jeanne)will be spreading her ashes at Mt. Charleston in a private setting. A larger celebration of life will happen later in the year (after covid restrictions end). We take comfort in the memories we have with this energetic and loving woman and we wish her family peace and love during this difficult time.
