My name is Bobbie. I am a fully disabled widow of a two time Gulf War veteran. I am asking for your help to recover and rebuild from the most recent disastrous occurrence.

I am an equestrian. I have ridden, trained, and competed in three different countries and was able to travel the world with my military husband. I was married for 32 years to the most caring and loving man that God himself sent to me. In 2000, I was diagnosed with MS. This changed my life forever and strengthened my marriage. By 2015, I was fully immobile and my husband cared for me until his death from stomach cancer in 2021. Since then, I have been blessed with wonderful aides who go above and beyond. However, they cannot work for free and graciously accept what little I am able to give them.

As a fully disabled quadriplegic, I leave my house one day every six months to get a necessary infusion for my condition. On the day of my most recent infusion, someone broke into my home and stole my safe. That safe contained four generations of my family heirloom jewelry and the last remaining funds from my late husband’s Veteran’s Group Life Insurance. The items in that safe represent my sole reason and means to endure and survive in a reasonably painless and comfortable state of being. In addition to recouping some of the losses from the burglary, your donations will be used to purchase my necessary medical supplies and pay my generous caregivers who have been waiting patiently.
