Help Ms. PJ & Her Son Revisit Homeland
Donation protected
Ms. PJ has been a member of our Hovsepian family for the last four years. God has blessed her with a green thumb and the gift to connect with our students on a social-spiritual level. Recently, she confided in me that she wants to take her adopted son, Mphatso, to the African nation of Malawi. This is where Ms. PJ found malnourished Mphatso in an orphanage 15 years ago. Returning to Malawi after 13 years would mean going back to the land of Mphatso’s ancestry, the land of his birth family, and the land where Ms. PJ found unconditional love.
I was moved by Ms. PJ’s story of pilgrimage. It would be a great symbolic gesture to reciprocate the gracious gift of love to our Ms. PJ. As a community, let’s raise the $4,000.00 she needs to embark on this profound journey to Malawi.
With gratitude,
Br. Shahé
