Help Ms. Jessie Bryant rebuild after the Eaton fires
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Souls,
My name is Vouaghn Bryant, the proud son of Jessie Bryant, though many of you know her by different names. To our family, she is Aunt Francis. To her dear friends, she’s Sanii or simply Jessie. To my generation, she’s Ms. Bryant, and to the generations that came after me, lovingly Auntie.
A proud Chicago native, my mother took a leap of faith in 1972 and purchased our forever home on West Palm Street in Altadena, California. For over 50 years, this house was more than a shelter—it was a sanctuary of love, family, and community, a place where laughter, joy, and resilience flourished.
Tragically, the Eaton Fire has taken everything—and cherished memories. Like so many in our community, my mother suffered a total loss. Yet, her faith remains unwavering, holding onto the promise in Haggai 2:9: “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former.”
I humbly ask for your help in rebuilding what was lost. Any contribution, no matter how small, can restore hope and honor a woman who has given so much to others. Together, we can turn this tragedy into triumph.
With gratitude,
Vouaghn Bryant
P.S. If you have a photo of Jessie that captures her spirit, we’d love you to include it in this effort.
Blessings to you all.
