Help Ms. Ellie's Students Get Access to Technology

Update: We reached a goal to get at least 6 of the tablets! Pushing for a few more! Help us get there.
Hi! @niniandthebrain is committed to science, education and technology, and thus, I am setting up this fundraiser to support Ashley Spivey's Annual Clear the List effort, which helps many educators meet their needs for the school year.
This fundraiser is on behalf of Miss Ellie Blakely Musson. Ellie is a reading interventionist for Kindergarten at Title 1 School in Washington DC. She has worked in education for over 13 years in both North Carolina and Washington D.C.
At the end of the last year she learned that her school's budget was cut over 300,000 dollars. This was not only devastating for staff, but also for students. She is currently not allocated devices, so her ten students aren’t able to access items on the internet in her classroom, which is not equitable. Let's change that for them!
Ellie is committed to her students and wants to make sure that when they walk into her classroom that they feel safe, empowered, and loved, and have access and experiences. Being able to prepare students to become 21st century learners as well as leaders is extremely important to her.
The use of blending learning programs on computers to help support different reading disabilities, as well as build students' confidence through online texts is key to their success. Despite the barriers within the school and community such as funding and budget cuts, lack of updated and functioning technology, homelessness, and frequent community violence, teachers like Ellie will never stop creating moments of hope and connection. As such, I am trying to support her to get these devices and will match the contribution for up to half of the total number of devices we can purchase.
Any help is so deeply appreciated, even if it is just passing the link on to others to spread the word! Thank you!
