Help Ms Edith with Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Jennifer Vaughan and I have set up this fundraiser is for one of my vendors, Ms Edith. She makes Mexican amate bark paper for my store, Mulberry Paper and More. I have worked with Ms. Edith for about 10 years and now she needs help.

Ms Edith lives in San Pablito, Mexico and has been making amate bark paper by hand since she was a little girl. The production of amate paper is Ms Edith’s sole source of income for her family of 4 sons and 2 daughters. Recently, Ms Edith began feeling ill and the doctors determined that her right kidney was functioning at only 5% and her left kidney was filled with large stones. She needs surgery to remove the non-functioning kidney and the large kidney stones in her remaining kidney.

Ms Edith will be having surgery on March 11, 2024 and she is very nervous and scared since this will be her first surgery.

This fundraiser will help to alleviate the financial burden associated with Ms Edith’s medical bills. Every donation, no matter how small, will contribute to Ms Edith’s journey towards healing and recovery. My representative in Mexico, Carlos De Los Santos, works directly with Ms Edith and has been assisting her with medical appointments.
