Cindy is not just a coworker, she’s a dedicated preschool teacher and a caring friend to so many of us. Recently, her life was turned upside down when a devastating fire broke out in her building on the Grand Concourse early Monday morning. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the damage was severe and left Cindy with nothing. Right now, Cindy is staying in a hotel for a few days, but soon she’ll have to move into a shelter until she can get back on her feet. The fire didn’t just take her belongings; it also separated her from her brother and daughter, who are now staying with other family members while Cindy tries to rebuild.

Cindy needs help with the basics. Clothing, food, housing, and essentials. She’s always been there for her students and our team, and now she needs our support more than ever.
