Help Ms. Chunks Say Goodbye to Her “Dingal Dangal”
Donation protected
Hi friends, animal lovers, and fellow softies,
I’m reaching out with a full heart on behalf of my beautiful, stubborn, hilarious French Bulldog — Ms. Chunks. If you’ve ever met her, you already know: she’s more personality than pup. A true queen with a snore like a chainsaw and the attitude of a middle-aged woman who’s had enough.
Ms. Chunks came into my life 2.5 years ago, all the way from a rescue in San Antonio, Texas. She had a rough start, but since then, she’s been living her best life — napping like it’s a competitive sport, eating like she’s never been fed before, and ruling our home like she pays the bills.
But recently, something unexpected showed up in our world. A large tumor has developed between her back legs. It’s, well… a presence. I lovingly (and perhaps inappropriately) nicknamed it her “Dingal Dangal.” Yes, it’s gotten that big. So big, in fact, that strangers at the dog park assume she’s a boy. Ms. Chunks is NOT amused.
Her surgery to remove the Dingal Dangal is scheduled for July 9th, and while I’m beyond relieved it’s operable, the cost is, frankly, more than I can handle on my own. I’ve recently been working hard to start a new business and build a more stable future — but as any entrepreneur will tell you, the early days come with a lot more hustle than income.
So here I am, asking for your help — whether it’s a donation, a share, or just sending love our way. Every little bit will help get my girl through surgery, post-op recovery, and back to her usual routine of snorting, snacking, and sassing.
If you’ve ever loved a dog like family, you understand. They aren’t “just dogs.” They’re souls in fur coats, little beings who love without condition and teach us more about life than most humans ever could.
Ms. Chunks is my heart. And this Dingal Dangal has got to go.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and hers — which is usually buried under snores and blankets),
