Help Ms. Callaway Save Her Home

I am a friend of Ms. Callaway, trying to help her in a troubled time. Fulton County Georgia, took away her homestead exemption and senior discounts, leaving her unable to pay her property taxes. She was never told that this happened and believed her property tax exemptions were in place, since her situation had never changed. She lives on minimal Social Security benefits, and is having trouble making the large payments required to pay her taxes now. Her taxes went from less than $20 a year (with exemptions) in 2014, to $2780.59 in 2021! We want to get her out of this horrible situation. Her homestead exemptions have been restored going forward. We will help her appeal her property valuation. Your gift to this lovely, faithful, 80-year-old widow will pay off the debt owed to Investa Services and clear her liens. Going forward, she should be able to handle her taxes once again. Money raised above the target amount will be used to repair her home, which has suffered greatly with age and a leaky roof.   Please note:  Dr. Nancy Gail McLaurin, as a trusted friend to Ms. Callaway, will be withdrawing the funds on Ms. Callaway's behalf to pay off the debt, purchase home owner's insurance, and begin repairs.  Thank you, and God Bless You.
