For years, Ms. Betty has been the heart and soul behind Betty’s Place. More than just a restaurant, Betty’s Place has been a gathering place where family, friends, and neighbors have shared meals, laughter, and memories. Ms. Betty has dedicated her life to serving others with kindness, generosity, and love, always making everyone who walked through her doors feel like family.

Recently, Ms. Betty suffered an ischemic stroke, turning her world upside down. While we are incredibly grateful she is still with us, her recovery will take time, rehabilitation, and plenty of rest. Right now, her focus needs to be on healing.

Because of her stroke, Ms. Betty is unable to open Betty’s Place, leaving her without the income she depends on to cover both personal and business expenses. As many know, when a small business isn’t open, the bills don’t stop. Rent, utilities, insurance, medical expenses, and other everyday costs continue to pile up while she is unable to work.

We are asking our community, loyal customers, family, friends, and anyone whose life has been touched by Ms. Betty or Betty’s Place to come together during this difficult time. Every donation—no matter the amount—will help relieve the financial burden, support Ms. Betty’s recovery, and help keep Betty’s Place going until she is well enough to return.
