Help Mruczek Get Treatment

Hello all,

Mruczek, my parents' cat, has fallen extremely ill, and we’re doing everything we can to help him pull through, but we can't do it alone.

A little about Mruczek:

He’s about 6 years old now and was a stray who showed up at our doorstep as a tiny, skinny ball of fur who hated being touched. It took him nearly two years to trust us enough to pet him, and even longer to allow us to pick him up. But recently, he’s been more open with us, even coming to us for pets and letting us pick him up. He’s a bit of a “skrunkly” cat, with his tongue always hanging out, and he sometimes dribbles, but we love his silly, unique personality.

Sadly, he’s been really unwell. After two vet visits, the diagnosis is leaning toward either FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) or lymphoma. The treatment for FIP alone is quoted at £6-7k, and the vet visits are adding up fast. At the moment the plan is to trial medication to see what helps him.

His symptoms include:

Enlarged liver

Swollen lymph nodes

Wobbling when walking

Lethargy

Swollen feet

We’re doing everything we can, but the costs are piling up, and my family can’t afford it on our own. If you can help, any contribution would be so appreciated. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this with others could help us reach more people who might be able to.
